I was sold an extended warranty with my car for $2900 that I can’t even use because financing put the WRONG VIN NUMBER on the policy. The first person I spoke to on the phone was extremely rude to me and made me come in person to get it sorted out. I was understanding at first because the next gentleman I interacted with was kind and told me it would be taken care of it 48-72 hours. It has now been 3 weeks and my car is still messed up. I can’t get it worked on because the policy STILL hasn’t been fixed. What is going on?!?!? Why am I getting the run around?!?
This is Clay Cooley’s mistake and I am paying for it, but they don’t care because it isn’t making them more money. I’ve been calling Ally every few days to see if any paperwork has been sent in to get the vin number corrected and they just told me they still haven’t received anything and the VIN number is still wrong.
Tomorrow I’m going to have to drive an hour in person AGAIN to the dealership to see if I can actually get this sorted out.
I will never shop here again and I will make sure no one I know shops here again as well. Next step might have to be legal action just so I can get my damn car fixed without paying thousands of dollars.
