Honest and Friendly
Cars Auto has been my go to place for years in Poway. There work is always timely and professional. The number one factory of this place is the honest work that they provide. I also love that when you take your vehicle in for a certain thing they always do more for you by doing inspections and recommendations to improve your vehicle. Even though they were slammed with appointments CARS took time to look at my vehicle and give me an estimate. A lot of maintenance needed due to my negligence. The repair work was completed in one day at no additional expense. I have been utilizing this business for over 30 years & always recommend them

Trust Chris and team explicitly.
Chris and team proved their integrity last year when I had a water pump failure and after I had it towed to them they identified that it was likely still under warranty and referred me to the dealer. I had no idea and would have paid them to fix it. Extremely honest and trust worthy guys

Fast, responsive, helpful and communicative.
I take all my vehicles to Chris and CARS automotive. He makes sure everything is correct. No up-sales. If something else presents itself he informs me immediately giving me the option to proceed or not. Great work ethics. Highly recommended!!

Great service, and they tell you the truth
I trust them with my older car because they are honest with me about what's wrong, and what isn't actually an issue. With an older car I worry, so I find Chris and the team very helpful.

Mechanics you can trust
My wife has been taking her car here for years and always gets a fair price and quality work. I took mine in and they were able to figure out my issue right away. The pricing was fair and they had my car back to me quickly. Definitely trust these guys.

Battery replacement
So glad I took my vehicle to CARS for the simple task of getting a new battery because it turned out to be far from simple. Chris needed to contact numerous vendors and batteries they said would work were the wrong size. Eventually the right battery was located and fit the compartment in my Highlander hybrid. So thankful for Chris’ expertise and his solution oriented approach.
