My wife took her car to carpenters auto for an inspection. They also found something wrong with the sway bar and repaired it. Total cost $300 +/-. The car passed inspection and when the owner went to put the sticker on, he pushed on the window and it cracked to where the window needed replaced. He indicated there was a rock chip ( which we were unaware existed) and when he pushed on the window it cracked. Conveniently, he also owns Hollanbaugh Glass in the same building. He never offered anything for his pushing on the window and causing the crack. He simply quoted a replacement window for $489. When my wife confronted him for pushing on the window and actually causing a crack requiring replacement, he put his hands in the air and “what, do you want me to pay for the window”. My wife wrote a negative review for his company. We received a quote from another local glass replacement company for $383. She went back and told him and they now agreed to match the competition price. The car was scheduled to have window replaced at 10am the next day (Friday 9/12/25). She dropped car off at 8am. She went to see if car was done when she was back in town at 1pm and they said it was not ready and that they had seen her review. They then told her because of her review they could no longer trust her to pay with check or credit card and she had to pay in cash. Terrible, terrible customer service. How this guy stays in business is beyond belief. More to come, but will end this review here.
