Excellent service of a non-obvious problem
We had a odd faint noise that we couldn't quite identify, other than it seemed to be related to engine speed. Andreas looked our car (2003 Jetta TDI) and determined that we needed a new alternator. It was pricy, but Maureen told me that they had pretty much stopped using the cheaper ones as they often failed too soon. Once we gave the OK, we had the car back the next day.

Reliable & honest service
Thank you Bowen Street Garage! I appreciate the reliable & honest work you have done on both of my Subaru's. This was for a 60K service & I feel as if the pricing was honest & fair. The car was finished on time & ready to pick up when promised. Staff was kind & friendly. Prior to any service done, staff called me to tell me what services would be performed and how much money to expect to pay. Staff communicated promptly and well. Thanks again!

Great staff, great service
My overall experience was greater than I could've hoped for. Both the staff and service was excellent. They all are very friendly and passionate in what they do. No cheap tricks here - they don't charge you for things not necessary or try to upsell you. They're straight to the point and I gotta hand it to them, it's hard to find a trustworthy mechanic these days. Thank you for being one. I will definately be coming back.

Emergency
I was in a serious bind this morning with a car that wouldn't start and responsibilities that couldn't wait. Maureen was completely helpful in answering my inquiry and getting my car right in. The team at Bowen Street Garage is always courteous, professional and knowledgeable. I love a family owned business, but this is one of my favs. Andreas Miller is a genius. I call these guys the car gods for a reason!

Honest, Reliable Service
I’ve been taking my vehicles to Bowen Street Garage for several years now. I knew I could trust them from the first visit, when the owner told me one of his guys had accidentally clipped the driver’s side mirror of my 10-year-old minivan. Truly I couldn’t really see the damage; it blended in with ten years of nicks that were there when I’d bought the van. The fact that he was willing to pay for the cold sore on my pig’s lip was almost laughable, and of course I waved it off. But if I and my high mileage vehicles can count on that level of honesty, you and your show-room gem can know you’re in good hands.
