Phenomenal Service
I couldn't have asked for a better experience working with Mark, the service writer and owner of Bothell Way Garage. Joey, the service writer from Mac Truck Repair in Redmond, referred me. As explained in detail by Mark, the power steering pump on my vehicle "failed catastrophically," causing the serpentine belt to snap, and my engine to overheat due to the water pump being powered by said system. Needless to say, I was incredibly worried that the head gasket blew (which they tested, and it didn't) and also potentially other issues as well. I called in midday on Tuesday, and coordinated my vehicle to be towed to the shop Wednesday. Mark told me a very reasonable timeline, especially considering how busy this shop is, having such a good reputation in the Bothell community, that he'd have a quote and diagnosis by Thursday, and expected to complete the necessary repairs by Friday. I ended up getting a call only a couple hours after my vehicle was towed to the shop on Wednesday to hear what was wrong, with a very reasonable price, which aligned exactly with what ended up being the total bill in the end. Throughout the whole process, Mark was punctual, friendly, and professional. My vehicle, having so many miles on it, had various other problems, and he understood that it wasn't exactly worth it to me to fix everything. Instead, being honest and telling me exactly what was needed to repair the "catastrophic" problems to get my car back on the road. I got a call first thing in the morning on Thursday, a day before he said to expect the repairs to be complete, and picked it up back in complete working order. I can certainly say that businesses like BWG are what give me and others faith that there are repair shops that take utmost care of their customers. I absolutely recommend anybody in the area looking for the best service and reasonable prices to take their vehicles here for repair. And for me personally with this currently being my only car, it means the world to me.
