Friendly and Accomodating
They were able to accommodate me last minute for a smog and oil change on my truck. Gary has always been friendly and courteous to me every time I need my vehicles smogged. This was my first oil change with them and everything feels great so far. I would definitely consider having more work on my vehicles done here in the future.

Professional & Friendly Great Experience
Made my Smog Check appointment the same day and was given a convenient time. We were greeted and checked in quickly. The Smog Check was done in about 30 min. Everyone was very friendly and professional. I will come back again, not just for smog check.

Great service
I’ve been taking my vehicles here for over 15 years, usually for scheduled and routine maintenance; however I needed to replace a broken right axle and a worn down transmission mount. They were able to correctly diagnosis the unusual sounds I was hearing, order the parts for my ten year old car, and had it back to me by the next day.

My likelihood to recommend this shop is actually 20++!!!
This was an extremely stressful situation for me as I had multiple MAJOR difficulties getting my car towed. When it finally got to the Bonita Point Auto Care Shop, it was a completely different experience.
First off, the team at Bonita Point Auto Care were HIGHLY responsive and prompt in contacting me.
Frank was extremely professional and broke it down fast when I had no time to discuss the issue. He quickly stated he would do a diagnostic, and get back to me via TEXT on the prognosis and next steps.
I really liked that this shop had the text functionality for a communication method, as my job didn’t allow me the time to receive personal calls. This was so convenient and allowed me room to maneuver and make clear educated decisions on next steps, for as we know in San Diego, YOU DEFINITELY NEED A CAR to get around [I’m originally from the Bay Area]…
After the diagnostic test, the problem was explained simply and clearly with options and expectations spelled out. I was very pleased to not receive a lot of “mechanical speak”, but rather here’s the problem, and here are your options!!
I unfortunately couldn’t afford to have it fixed at the moment, so I had to tow it out, and once again had challenges requesting a tow. I’m so grateful to my SECOND REQUEST IN AN HOUR to tow from Angelos Tow and Recovery…special shout out to Anthony and the technician who towed my Mini for helping me!!! Anthony is the best! [Separate review on this establishment later]
Lori from Bonita Auto Care was, in partnership to Frank, the ultimate professional to help me and was also the best!!! She explained payment and went above and beyond to keep me posted minute to minute on status of towing! I really liked the easy seamless way she collected payment for services, all done via text and securely executed! Lori truly epitomized customer service, and really made a very stressful situation have a nice ending! The chat via text feature they utilize is AMAZING.
I went to this shop as I’m a member of AAA, and it was one of many shops recommended in the area.
But trust me when I say, forget the rest, even if it’s a bit out of your way…ITS WORTH CHOOSING BONITA POINT AUTO CARE. They’ll take care of you and I am a happy, grateful customer who highly recommends them!

Fast service
I requested an appointment to get my car smogged on Wednesday for this Saturday morning. Lori called me back right away and had me on the schedule. On Saturday morning I was in and out in about 30 minutes. So grateful once again for Bonita Point Auto Care's fast and friendly service!
