SCAMMERS AND CON ARTISTS!!
I am in tears but I will NOT STOP until justice is served from these scammers! I had an appointment with salesperson Printice Twiggs. I arrived with only one car in mind which I explained to him. Upon arrival I did the test drive and was fairly pleased to move forward. I should have known something was sketchy when he did my credit application on HIS phone! He gathered my social security number and everything. I was completely honest and upfront I just relocated from Texas a week ago and about my financial income. I provided bank statements as well. After doing my credit application he told me I would have to put down $5,000 down on a 2009 SUV! Initially when I spoke to him and I mentioned to him before scheduling the appointment today that I had only $1500 in mind as a deposit. He told me based on the car I wanted they require a minimum of $2,000 down for any car. I agreed to that. He later said I was approved for the 2009 Chevy and also a 2020 Kia Sorrento. I was a bit puzzled due to the Chevy listing price is $11,900 and the Kia listing price is $19,000. I asked him wouldn't my notes be much higher on a newer car? Im not trying to go above my means. He assured me the bank knew of my income and would not approve me for something I could not afford. I was very excited and loved the car. He told the car was mine as long as I can provide a "hard copy" of my proof of income even though I submitted bank statements. My hard copy award letter was at home which he told me during the test drive of the second vehicle to stop by my residence which is my grandmothers home to gather the documents. I did as told thinking I have the car and thats all I needed which is what he said. We arrived back to the dealership mind you I have been there since 11AM it was now going on 3PM which I understand this takes time, but he assured me it would only be a few minutes because I was approved already. He comes back to tell me I'm not approved because the finance manager Ted made a mistake on my numbers and put the same number twice!! That made NO sense when he did the credit application with the help of his twin brother of inputting one source of income that based on that one number I was approved for the two cars. When requested to speak to the finance manager Ted he rudely said yeah, I made the mistake so what? Very rude and had no care! I have it recorded which I told him I would for documentation purposes! I am a single mother of three children who endured manipulation and intimidation at this place! They need to be reported to the BBB and out of business! True Scam artists! The salesperson has been trying to facetime since leaving the facility which is harassment! After saying I would call the police the finance manager quickly ran out of the room! To make matters worse they ran my credit 9 times-all hard inquires!! I just checked once I got home. This is illegal! Furthermore the salesperson Printice sent my daughters SSI letter to his personal cellphone! SO now I fear we are victims of identity theft at this point! He even admitted to while I am approved for the $2,000 down the dealership cant make any money off of it so they make people put double so they can profit off of it! Also he said he could get fired for doing my credit application himself! Hope corporate sees this and the general manager!!
