I Had some serious brake issues w my BMW X5 - I LOVE the car to death -
but i was already looking at a 12k used FORD truck to buy. even had it inspected
since my X5 seemed to have unsafe brakes and was getting older.
My BMW SUV used to shake like Elvis onstage every time I applied pressure to my brakes. It wasn't safe or pleasant.

got me back on the road fast!
When I drove the car after the repairs... the brakes worked perfect.
I've had a shutter and wobble and assumed the aftermarket disc brakes the old owner installed were "less than solid".
I was wrong
it wasn't a cheap replacement part....
I just used a greedy mechanic before.
WHEN I Got CAR BACK from Bay’s / w Sal IT WAS BRAKING PERFECTLY.
like a dream.
Like a different car entirely.
I was astonished how bad it was before and how GOOD it was now.
A good mechanic cares about the customers "well being" and " safety" on the road...
So i start inquiring w Sal what was found when they tore down the brakes to rebuild them....
After a few questions I realized SAL found a BMW brake caliper OF MINE WAS That was completely LOCKED UP ( which the part ain't cheap )
and it never appeared on invoice.

All I ask is to tell your friends about their shop! there's a reason they are always busy but don't be intimidated... they have a customer office to the left of garage doors. EVERYONE DESERVES A Honest MECHANIC!

My car estimate didn't change.
I now understand that for years I've had a locked up left front brake caliper,
that was Broken ( locked up )
and clearly overlooked by the last brake guys (who said they didn't even test drive it after I had brakes done years before)
So I'll scream it from a mountain top!

I looked on my invoice and he didn't
add even 1 cent onto the first quote
for caliper. He WILL treat you right!
I've built many V8 engines since I was a kid so I have never worked on Bavaria
( bmw) vehicles ... but as a mechanic, you can always tell when a shop isn't trustworthy.

Im also a sole proprietor for decades and decades... and I do the same thing for my clients and give away some free time just to honor a quote and keep customers coming back ... and staying happy!
Every repair is unique .... but now Sal and BAYS IS getting my vintage "fun" car to Repair my HEATER and do an alignment.
These guys are true Gentlemen's mechanics! They care. They try to stay accurate unless "hidden unknowns" appear during a repair job that are unseen by the exterior evaluation when estimating repair costs. no one has ESP during a mechanical failure...
But
this team has you covered better than any mechanic I've ever used in my 5+ decades ... (50+ years )of hiring mechanics.
Sal is actually one of the last good guys!
I seriously don't even ask for a quote
since he's always MILES ABOVE other mechanics in quality. So his price is always less than his value. I "WAS"
selling my car and now I'm keeping it...
Sal fixed my two "20 year old" stabilizer bars also .... so it drives like a new BMW again.
Sal is just the kind of local guy who will be fair and forthcoming! I never write reviews, since Yelp is all fake and full of entitled crybabies w all biased comments.
The only crying will be if you're reading someone else's invoice - meaning if you don't trust Sal and BAYS AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR you'll see the difference immediately.

under my car ...
and looked at brakes under my car....
he looked directly at the problem,
and got his hands dirty.
then he ran inside and got
me a bid and i didn't even request it.
