Service with Integrity

When faced with a large price to repair an engine overheating problem, a colleague suggested I try Auto Performance Center. He had found the place from which I had received my estimate to be overly ambitious when they recommended service. When he went to Auto Performance Center, he found them to be honest and straightforward. I found the same. While the first shop had quoted me a replacement of the water pump and timing chain cover, Auto Performance Center found nothing requiring the change of the timing chain cover. They changed the water pump and thermostat only, and saved me $788.60 off the first quote of $1176. Having just purchased the vehicle with over 100k miles months before, it was refreshing not to need to pay 25% of the purchase price within four months of the purchase! I appreciate the integrity with which Auto Performance Center operates as well as the high level of competence and courtesy with which Tara, the Office Manager, operates. I was also particularly pleased that Steve, who did the work on the vehicle, was present when I picked up my car and was able to reassure me that the timing chain cover was not necessary. This was a great experience! Thank you Tara and Steve.
