They do not pay their freelancers. I was a freelance proofreader with them for six months. They send work with same-day deadlines but refuse to pay or respond to invoices. Their contract stipulated payment after 60 days, which turned out to be a way to string along freelancers without paying. When I gave them my notice they had the audacity to ask why I was leaving.
