I had a tapping noise in my left front area. I wanted to see if the dealer diagnosed it with first and take it to somewhere that would be cheaper. The dealer diagnosed it as my body mount bushings was making noise. This shop didn’t want anything to do with what I looked up or anything they just said 26 years of service we would know what it is. I took it to them and they went right to the cv axles that were making the noise. I told them that if that’s what they were sure it was I would let them replace them both sides with oem parts. I picked it up and it was still making the noise. After driving it for about two weeks. It started to get the shakes and stuff cause I was told the cv axle were not oem so they weren’t balanced right. I took the truck back to the dealer to have them tell me if this shop used the right parts and the dealer said the shop used cheap parts not oem and then told me that they had to align it cause this shop didn’t do that either after replacing them parts. So they were saying my differential had problems and the dealership is blaming that on them not using oem parts and not aligning it. After that they told me they don’t mess with differentials so the only thing this shop did was charge me for the most expensive part on it and then didn’t even do the job right. If it is the differential then the shop should of had someone turn around and fix that for them because they said it was something else.
