It's always something!!
They felt the belts needed to be changed as well as the air filter. I agreed on the air filter because it was pretty dirty. I did go out to inspect the belts and couldn't really see the cracks, etc they were trying to show me but agreed to go ahead. When they were finished the engine light was on. To my knowledge the engine light has never been on. They then showed me what appeared to be an issue with the #2 spark plug and wire. The plugs were changed on the 60000 mile service at Tire World. Anyway, they put the plug back in and connected the plug wire . I got in and left and the engine light was not on and the car is running fine just like it was before I went in. I assume it got knocked loose when the belts were being changed. If I hadn't bought the five pack of oil changes a couple years ago I would not go back but I still have two left so unless they want to reimburse me for them I'll go back for two more services but won't have them touch anything else. I'll return to Tire World where I used to take it and where my Toyota has ever been.

Thank you for taking my phone call last night and discussing the concerns in depth with me.

I am happy to hear the staff followed company policy when it came to the recommendations we were making. We want our customer's to see the concerns we see to justify the need for repairs on the vehicle.

I am also thankful the items with the check engine light were cleared up and you were involved in each step of that process.

In closing we here at Aspen never want a customer to feel they are held hostage by a prepaid service. If the opportunity is there to continue with your trust, we would love to serve that out. If not, I am more than happy to refund you the remaining of your prepaid card.
