You also used the word "knowledgeable" and based on some of the estimates and recommendations we made, I hope we offered clarification for the pricing. Your vehicle has a unique design that allows one to have a choice when it comes to the repairs you need. Your repair also needs to have a stout warranty that covers parts AND labor. At Aspen our standard 36 month, 36,000 mile warranty allows for that. Lastly the experience level needed to work on your type of vehicle is of consideration.
Pertaining to your key. I am sorry that the fob broke as it did. We have ordered and have a replacement here at the store so we can make that wrong a right. To accomplish the replacement we need all of the keys present, then we will need to perform a reprogram with the new fob. We have attempted to contact you but have not heard back. If email is the best, feel free to reply to me directly. We need to coordinate schedules to accomplish this correction.

What did not make me happy: I felt the cost quoted to me was quite high. Too high.
Additionally, I was not happy when Mike yanked your yellow tag off of my VW key. When he did this he pulled the key ring loop out of the back of my key. Mike said, oh, sorry, that happens all the time, I'll order you a new one. Sure he will! If this happens all of the time, use scissors.
