They emailed me the diagnosis after the inspection without sending me the cost of repairing each item. They told me on the phone that I needed to authorize the repairs to see the costs. So I gave them my preliminary approval (and told them so) by signing to see the costs associated with the repairs. When I saw the total costs (over $7000) I did not want to proceed with the repair and notified them within 10 minutes while texting them. I told them I did not ask them to start the repair on the car. They told me that it was too late and I could not pick up the car because I had already signed the contract and they had already drained the transmission oil! That was an unacceptable business practice to force the customer to sign without seeing the repair cost and then refuse not to repair after explicitly being told not to do so.
