Honest Service Center

This was my first time bringing my car to Alfaro’s. I was getting an under boost engine code/check engine light intermittently for over a month. They ran thorough diagnostics, lubricated parts, cleaned the throttle body, reset mass airflow sensor, did a really thorough inspection of my turbo. They called with updates. He was very transparent with me, he was very thorough, and even though he had spent nearly all day on my car, trying to figure out the root cause, he did not charge me for a full days worth of labor. Ultimately, he told me what he suspected that it might be, but couldn’t say for sure, and therefore wasn’t comfortable suggesting a parts replacement. He suggested that I pick it up, continue to drive it, and if it happens again to bring it back in. And I really appreciate a service center that doesn’t just throw parts at you to try to get money. The shop appears to operate under integrity and positive reputation. I will absolutely be recommending this shop to everybody.
