thee (yes thee) absolute WORST EXPERIENCE I've EVER had with a shop, and I work for Geico as an auto accident claims adjuster! I work with customers who are involved in car accidents, and turn to us for recommendations on the best places for their repair issues, and I would NOT, and I REPEAT WOULD NOT TAKE MY CAR HERE AGAIN!
I DROVE my car there to get brakes, smog, oil change, and a power steering issue checked out. I didn't rush them, and I was never rude nor disrespectful to any of the staff. I was accused by the MANAGER of lying about requesting a smog, when I spoke to a representative face to face and requested the smog before I left the office, oh and the MANAGER that accused me of lying about my request for a smog on day one never even spoke to me the first time I arrived to the shop, so how exactly would she know what I requested?. They basically charged be $1400.00 for regular brakes, and an oil change I'm not even sure was done, then told me they recycle my ecu codes when diagnosing the power steering issue my vehicle was brought in for as part of my requested services ( Oil, Smog, Brakes, Power Steering) So, why would you do the power steering 1st knowing you're going to have to reset the battery instead of smogging it first, then doing the power steering diagnosis afterwards? Rather than leaving me with a car I can't smog now until I drive it enough? Mind you I was quoted over 7k to fix JUST the power steering issue. I get to the shop to pay for my obviously overcharged brake job of $1400.00, and they tell me they can now do my smog all of a sudden and to kindly wait for 15 more mins, after they've had my car for almost 3 days at this point, btw. I decline their offer to do my now free smog, as if to say I was being offered something when they already wasted my time, and hard earned money.....I refused their free service for them to only 10 minutes later say that they can't do my smog because my factory turbo'd vehicle has upgraded blow off valves won't pass inspection, but mind you I took my car to a random shop to get it smogged and it passed. The representative even commented that if I have a friend that will pass it for me that's fine, but that they wouldn't risk their license to help me. I didn't even request the smog to be done after they clearly messed up, and immediately requested my car back when I got to the shop to pay for their poor service, and inflated prices....so why this poor excuse for a representative face of any business was telling me about their license was quite baffling to me when I just wanted my car as far away from these crooks as possible! I paid their bail fee to get my car back, and the representative rudely dropped my keys on the table and said to me well if that's how you treat people. I'm sorry, but did I bring a car here to your business where you should ALWAYS TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS WITH RESPECT NO MATTER WHAT, ESPECIALLY IF THE REASON THEY'RE UPSET IS DUE TO YOUR NEGLIGENCE! I brought my car there, and left wishing that I never looked this place up on Google. Not just too long ago local businesses were hurting due to the pandemic, and I'm all for supporting local businesses, but this one, this one, I hope eventually gets the Karma coming to them that they deserve for the way I was treated as a customer. Save your time, and your energy, and your money! Please! Stay away! If you're wronged, they WILL NOT make it right, nor attempt to.
