Out Right Lied about Quote
Just wasted a week on a lease deal that Jose Romero promised. Spoke to him daily, reconfirmed the price and the terms. He sent me a quote, and several emails and text. Even gave me an estimted day of delivery. When I requested an email from a manager, confirming the prices, he said"No problem, will get it ASAP". Another day passes, several more phone conversations, all saying,"no problem" its all good.
Finally requested a manager call, and they said they could do the deal for $70 mth more!? Really!, I had several other dealers at $20 month more (Atlantic and Millinium)! Deceptive practices and outright lies. I will never use Both Jose Romero and the dealership

Poor maintenance/recommendation/assistance
I purposely had them install the auto start system into my Hyundai Sonata in case anything specifically had to be addressed through Hyundai at their recommendation. After receiving a recall for the auto theft system the auto start does not work and they told me there is nothing they can do about it. A perfectly working auto start system that doesn't work with their recall. So basically I wasted my money ...hopefully nobody else gets scammed into this by the dealer.

very happy with service and Keith Knettel
santa fe brought in for oil change software updateand door sensor replacement.Keith was excellent .KEPT ME INFORMED OF PROGRESS AS WELL AS OTHER CONCERNS SEEN BY INSPECTION. I WILL BE BRINGING BOTH MY SANTA FE AND MY TUCSON THERE IN THE FUTURE.

Incredible team of professionals
I placed my 2022 Hybrid Tucson in their hands for a non routine repair, they took care of everything including a lift back to work by Uber.

Smart, knowledgeable staff of trained mechanics, including Patrick LeRouzic, described the repair progress and made the necessary parts and labor to get the job done.

Rude and overpriced
Went in to test drive the Elantra SEL and was told that they don’t honor my companies deal. I was then told “why did you even come here if you have a deal with other dealerships”. I obviously went there to try and buy a car without the hassle of traveling, and was willing to pay a premium. Sadly his idea of a premium was 28k plus taxes and fees, way over the sticker price and any other dealership I went to. He then said, “next time don’t waste my time and your time and ask how much the dealership charges over the sticker price right away.” I didn't realize that this dealership would charge thousands more than the Hempstead Hyundai dealership for the same car and worse service. He then never shook our hand, made eye contact again, and said another word. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU WANT A GOOD DEAL OR GOOD SERVICE. Lost a life long customer before I even got a price on my first ever car.

Worst service, impolite, over charged, no knowledge and unauthorized use of my car
Booked three times, finally got a service spot, dropped off for a whole day service, car was 2020 under warranty but service representative claimed that he could not find my car record and charged me oil change, filters, tile rotation, fuel injection cleanup, recalls, check engine, AC mist service and all these without my acknowledge. The bill turned out almost $700 and charge 3% extra credit card fee. After picking up my car and found there was 140 miles unauthorized use of my car.

Hyundai just doesn’t care about you once you signed the contract and bought their car.
I brought my car to the Advantage Hyundai auto dealer to have them fix a recall on my 2020 Palisades. While there the service department informed me
that I needed to replace my brake rotors and pads, as the rotors had only three percent thickness remaining.

I gave approval for them to conduct the repair only to find out that they didn’t have the rotors in stock and that they would need to be ordered.
I was then informed that I would have to pay up-front for the parts in order for them to be ordered.

I provided payment and was told that the parts would be in in about 1-2 weeks. They told me to take the car home as they don’t have room to store it.
and that they would notify me once the part was in.

After two weeks and no call from Advantage Hyundai I reached out to the dealer and for an update. The parts department told me it would be another “week or so”
until the parts would arrive. After another two weeks of not hearing from Hyundai I reached out again and was told it would be another week or two until
the parts would be available. This has been going on for nine weeks so far and still no parts.

I reached out to Hyundai USA customer service and asked how they can sell cars that they cannot maintain.
They are obviously still selling new Palisades with OEM brake’s and rotors attached.

I explained that my car had reached a point that it was no longer safe to operate (and stop safely).
Hyundai USA customer service informed me that if its not a warranty or recall issue they basically can’t help me.

They still don’t know when the parts will come in, they did say “another one to two weeks” as if I haven’t heard that before.

I did however receive the monthly bill from Hyundai financial to pay for my 2020 Hyundai even though its basically a “Potted Plant” sitting in my driveway.

How can they sell cars that they can’t maintain?
How can they expect customers to pay for cars that don’t operate?
Why would they take money to lock you in to purchasing parts from a dealer who can’t produce the parts?

I am very disappointed with Hyundai’s attitude toward its customers. I like the car and think its a quality vehicle, it’s a shame that the company
feels that once they got you to buy its car that you are no longer of any consequence.

Nine plus weeks in and I still have no answers. Hyundai customer service says that company policy will not allow them
to help resolve my issue.

They basically said you just have to wait!!!!!

Too Bad!!!!

Anyone considering purchasing a Hyundai vehicle needs to consider they companies attitude toward its customers is the future that awaits you.

Excellent Service experience
I had a leak in the passenger footwell of my 2021 Kona, and brought my car in for inspection and repair. Patrick, the service manager, resolved the problem and all repairs were covered. I couldn’t be more happy and satisfied with the professionalism of everyone at Advantage Hyundai. Over the years I’ve had many stressful experiences with other service departments getting my car repaired.
However, I would highly recommend the service department at Advantage Hyundai in Hicksville.
Thanks again to Patrick Lerouziv and General Manager Mike Kiely for making a stressful situation a breeze!

Leasing my first car
I was recommended to come here by a friend. I leased my first car a Hyundai Tuscon 2022 in March. My dealer Chris had great customer service, accommodated any questions and concerns. The process was as smooth as it was and pretty quick. I am still satisfied with my vehicle.

unpleasant service customer agent.
Etna in service dept is unpleasant and unprofessional i have to call for service of few times to to get to know when my car will be ready. the professional way is to keep in touch with the customer . And when calling you give the name of the company and your name and be pleasant. From 2006 i have been coming to Advantage hyundai and never met such a unpleasant person. in service dept.May have to change dealer for service unless i get someone else. Always give a 5 ,but at this time 4. SORRY

Recall engine failure
I have a 2016 Sante Fe that has an engine recall. The engine went on it and we needed to get a new engine. We dropped the car off on April 9, 2022 and were told by Patrick that it can take up to 3 weeks to get the engine replaced. Advantage Hyundai put us on a “ so called” waiting list for a loaner car. In the meantime, I had to rent a vehicle. I rented a Chevy Mazda from 4/10/22 until 4/20/22 for almost $800 and was told by the Hyundai corporation they will refund me half of the money.
I left a message with Patrick to find out how much longer the car would be and got no return call. I drove to Hicksville to see what the status was. Patrick told me they have no engine yet. My name is still on the waiting list for a loaner car.
I love my Sante Fe but will make sure anyone snd everyone knows how Advantage Hyundai does NOT take care if their customers! The engine failure was not my fault, it was Hyundai’s. Yet, the cost comes out of my pocket to get a car!
