I was left stranded on a recent vacation. Advanced Transmission seemedclike a logical place to have my car repaired. Joe was very easy to get along with and seemed trustworthy. They got me a rental car and told me that they would give me a call in a few days to inform me of the price of the repairs my tranny needed. Well I got the call and about hit the floor when I was told the price, but I had already told them to fix it. When I arrived my car was dirty from I guess sitting in the rain, it had a spark plug wire off, the EGR tube had been knocked off and loosely reapplied causing one of the exhaust leaks the car now has. After waiting for twenty minutes for one of his guys to look at the car I went ahead and repaired the EGR tube and the spark plug wire. I went in and told Joe never mind and left. Well guess what bad move on my part, because one of the parts in my transmission they told me needed replaced was a speedometer drive gear( I hope my terminology is correct). You would think if you are going to replace a drive gear you would not guess on which one you put in, WRONG CAUSE THATS WHAT THE GUYS AT ADVANCED TRANSMISSION DID TO MY TRANNY. I called to complain and was given the run around,I was lied to,, then i was promised a call the next day. Never happened! I really hope someone reads this and changes their mind about taking their car to these guys because their customer service is a joke, their pricing is way too high $1891.00 for a job that should of cost around $1200.00. I will give them this my Corvettes transmission shifts so hard know I bet it doesn't last a year. Thanks for giving this out of towner a real ass whooping!
