Worst and most overpriced auto repair shop!
This shop owner charged me $105 for state inspection! On September 29th 2025 I took my Dodge Caravan to this shop for state inspection. It failed the inspection as OBD is not ready for the test. The vehicle got a new battery a couple of hours before the inspection and this battery replacement caused this OBD failure. However, the shop owner intentionally hide this information from me. He did not tell me that the vehicle failed inspection and he did not give me a printout of the inspection results. Based on my prior experience, by default I assume that the inspection passed. Four months later on January 29th 2026, I got a police ticket and stated that my vehicle inspection failed. I was shocked and noticed that the sticker had a black R on it. I googled and became aware that “R” means rejection. I found the inspection report online which clearly indicated that OBD failed inspection. On January 30th I took my vehicle back to the shop for inspection again. This time the OBD worked well and passed emission inspection, however, the rear driver side tire failed inspection. The shop owner charged me $35 2nd time for this inspection and told me that I do not need to pay inspection fee again if I fix this problem in 60 days. On February 10th I took my vehicle back to the shop for the 3rd inspection and it passed without any issue. However, the shop owner charged me $35 again for the 3rd inspection and his excuse is that my vehicle failed inspection on Sept 29th 2025 and I did not bring it back for inspection within 60 days. Now I realize that this is a scam and the shop owner intentionally hide the 1st inspection failure result so I have to come back to the shop and pay him inspection fees. The shop owner’s attitude is outrageously arrogant and brutal and he refused to acknowledge that this is his scam to gouge more money from customers. I hope I can give this shop a “-5” star if possible. Stay away from this despicable, unconscionable, greedy and crooked repair shop!
