I assumed it was something simple like my starter. Boy was it not simple! The starting assessment was that we needed to replace the ECM chip. ABA does electrical work and worked with their partners to get the right part. My Corolla is 13 years old and Toyota no longer offered the part. Unfortunately after the part arrived it was not such a simple issue.
It turned out that when I purchased my car used from the dealer there was some very strange wiring between the ECM, the alarm. And there was no master chip in my keys. By the time the issue was sorted we were all unsure how my car ever worked at all!
What I really want to acknowledge about ABA is that they saw the work through. I know that might seem like a given, but I had asked around during this process with my prior mechanic, and they would have just sent me away since Toyota would no longer offer the part! The more I asked around the more I realized what a bad situation I was in.
ABA kept me informed the entire time, they never quite on me, and were very fair in their pricing.
I cannot say enough about how I'm pressed I am and they have a customer for life!
