I have taken it to Fletcher Jones MBZ and Foothill Ranch MBZ
for servicing and repairs and the experience was always frustrating, time consuming, and way too expensive. The vibe was always "they were doing me a favor" by agreeing to work on my 25 year old E 320. NOT THE CASE with Star Motor Werks!
Geoff and his staff also work as a "family" and treat my Benz with that kind of care and concern. Having owned four Mercedes since 1972, STAR MOTOR WERKS has provided me with the very best service ever! I cannot recommend these professionals enough. I was very pleased with the engine rebuild that Auto Strasse and my mechanic, Frank performed on my 1
978 911 SC at 127,000 miles. As a result of several broken head studs, a teardown and rebuild was necessary. While in the neighborhood they increased the displacement from 3.0 to 3.2 with larger pistons for a modest increase in performance. They also upgraded the mechanical chain tensioners to hydraulics to prevent a future failure. The obviously know their way around these unique autos and take a personal pride in keeping them on the road in top shape.
