Brought in my trusty old 1985 pickup for what I thought would be head gasket and exhaust manifold gas
ket replacement. That alone would have been a very big job, but Steve said I needed a new engine. We decided to replace with a new engine block, not a rebuilt. The engine that went south was a rebuilt, had about 80,000 miles on it over a 12 year span. Never happy with it, but it worked. After replacement, they discovered that the wrong type of engine was put in. In order to accommodate this, they replaced the carburetor, and then the torque converter. This project took about 7 weeks and challenged and picked the brains of everyone involved, but with everyone’s patience, they got the job done, and in good order. I couldn’t be happier. I also believe that the shop swallowed some of the costs to accommodate good faith. The engine is a high performance type, and it’s super powerful, like the kind you’d find in souped up cars. Kinda scary, and so I need to be careful. Not used to that kind of power. But I’m very happy with it, and happy with the staff at Interstate for going the extra mile to get things done. By the way, this truck is my very first truck, and I was always partial to it, and so I didn’t mind putting in that level of money into it. Who knows, it may last another 40 years, although I certainly would not.

in what I needed and what I didnt need.I have since took wife car there and also my co-worker loves these guys.Ryan the owner really has a good team Josh has a great personality and Jason will explain things to where you understand it without a big ego like some places. Sure you can find places cheaper-but like my grandma would say you get what you pay for . You may come in for oil change but they may see worn out hoses.What me and my co -worker love is that they text you a detailed report on you car what need to be worked right away then next level then tere a next level its awesome report nevewr had anyone does this before.Plus they are next to fred meyers so I can do my shopping and stop wendys for a bite to bad I didnt know about them before. You will not find a more honest knowledgeable place then Premier dont take my word look at some of there reviews on their site they are not made up either. !!
