There was a lot of miscommunication between the service writer, the party that worked on our vehicle.
We have used their services before and had no issues. This time it wasn't a piece of cake. No loaner vehicles available. My daughter's car that was damaged, she took the car in for the repairs and was picked up by Hertz Rental Agency so that she could get a loaner. At the same time we were told by our insurance that the rental services would be handled by them. No charges to us. Hertz people were very rude to my daughter and didn't explain anything to her, basically took advantage. When we returned the car to G&C while picking up my daugther's car, we told the office manager about the problems with Hertz. She wrote everything down and said she would phone Hertz. They had charged my daughter for the rental. The office manager told us that it is most likely a pending charge and won't go through. Not so, she was charged 151.00 just for three day's! I had expected to receive a phone call from the office manager but never did. I e-mailed the service writer about it and he never responded to me. Just recently received a phone survey pertaining to G&C and I let them know how displeased I am. It has taken a lot of time dealing with our insurance company to get them to reimburse my daughter for the rental charges. I was promised a check and I'm still waiting on this. A courtesy phone call from both the office manager and the service writer would have been helpful. We will never use Hertz rental agency. The workmanship is good. Cannot complain about that. Unfortunately, from the get go there were frustrations and problems dealing with my insurance regarding the claim and just seemed to have rolled into G&C confusion and not explaining in detail about the loaner vehicle issue. My daughter was an hour late for work because of this.
