Had a brake caliper failure off if I-87 Yonkers, and the Don-Glo tow driver was timely and profession
al. Have to say that the physical condition of the building/lot/signage had us nervous. But by 8:40 the next morning the owner/lead mechanic called me with a clear explanation of what happened (my Upstate shop hadn’t tightened the caliper bolts properly), and promised the repair would be done that day, and it was. When I arrived back at Don-Glo less than 24 hours from the breakdown, I was shown the original parts and provided with pictures of what they found when they took the wheel off. The charge was fair, and I received the 10% AAA discount. The two key employees have been there 50 and 44 years respectively and were great guys. The motto: “don’t judge a book by its cover!”
