Caveat emptor - Panasonic 12V AGM auto bsttery in Hybrid Toyota
Have experienced parasitic battery drain in 12V aux batteery which eventually caused the car to not s
tart due to low voltage. After charging and battery not holding charge, car would not start at all unless I jumped the battery with a jump battery. Rte 1 purchased the battery in Feb 2022 and installed it and it worked fine for a while. I was not driving the car but only short trips every 2 or three days. The parasitic drain was back and for the past year I have been jumping the car with the jump box to get it started. I took the car to Rte 1 to see if they could get a pro-rated refund from the Toyota dealer on a battery that was less than 3 years old. No deal. Toyota told them this very expensive battery had only a 1-year guarantee. So-o-o, I had to replace it with another expensivve battery (with no guarantee of it lasting more than 2-1/2 yrs) Needless to say, I will not purchase another Hybrid vehicle, unless a gun is held to my head. Toyota won't do anything about the parasitic battery drain (witch I was not aware of in this Camry when I bought it new). Mark at Rte 1 did the best he could do with an outsourced batteery from Toyota with only a 1-yr guarantee (and no alternative battery appears available).

My battery died. AAA took 2 hours to get to me and they wanted to sell me a battery that wasn't that
good but cost a lot. John said that as soon as I was able to get going, I could go to Mully's and he would help me out. Long story short, I had an appointment for an oil change in 4 days. He had other customers but he managed to take care of them and, he did my oil change, rotated my tires, gave me a new and better battery than AAA and the cost was not much more than what I would have paid for the AAA battery. I intend to reciprocate, in some way. Just to say thank you!!!
