The worst local service manager and general manager

Total lemon which is not the local dealership's fault, nor am I blaming corporate. What is a total disgrace to your company is the lack of communication on the local level, meaning the Savannah, Georgia dealership. My vehicle had an appointment on June 17th because the dashboard was making all kinds of noises and alarms, dealership had it for several weeks before I heard a peep out of them, on July 6th or 7th I went in person to ask about my vehicle, the general manager told me in person that I would receive daily updates on my vehicle. Heard from the service dept the following day, and that was it. I started emailing the service manager and general manager, heard back ONCE from the service manager. I emailed both on more than a half dozen occasions with ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE FROM EITHER. Knowing good and well they had my vehicle, they were unable to fix the problem, knowing good and well that I would need a new vehicle and I heard NOTHING. Corporate determined it was a Lemon, they are in the process of repurchasing the Lemon and I had to buy a brand new vehicle. Which I did, a 2026 Toyota BZ, total electric vehicle which I wrote them a check for 42K. I even told the general manager that I wanted an electric vehicle, that I liked the Ionic SUV and still I never heard a word. Those two gentlemen, Wordford Freeman the service manager and Legrand Davis, the general manager, SHOULD NOT BE REPRESENTING YOUR COMPANY.

Great car. Fast, fun. Easy to drive. Two flaws only.

Great car for mileage, acceleration, responsiveness and handling. I love the display which forms a big curve in front of the driver. There are two problems: 1. The side mirrors must be pulled in and pushed out manually instead of electronically. This is a problem if you want to get into a tight spot and need to pull the passenger side mirror in. 2. The climate display settings are almost impossible to read unless it's dark outside or very cloudy. I live in Arizona where the sun shines most every day, all day. It's nearly impossible to see the climate settings because of they're very dim and small lights. I like everything else about this car and would buy it again.

Stay away from Hyundai in general

I bought my vehicle brand new last year and it’s been nothing but problems. It’s a lot in the technology that doesn’t work but then Hyundai will not fix it. They spend more time telling you it’s another department’s issue rather than fixing

Disabling Traffic/School Zone Notifications in Map Settings: Under the navigation settings, you can toggle off specific map-based warnings like traffic light info or school zone alerts if available in your regional software version.
Navigate to Setup > Navigation > Alerts or Safety Alerts to turn off specific camera or traffic notifications. ^cc

Value for Money Crossover SUV

The Tucson variant that I have is loaded with tech and features, which is perhaps the best part, rides well, though does not necessarily look and feel premium. Better mileage (I get around 35mph) would have been great! Overall happy with the vehicle

Driver assists must be beta. Steering assist is jerky and dangerous.

As above plus lane keeping is rudimentary and unreliable. Trying to accelerate quickly in eco mode is a joke. The door locking/unlocking system is prehistoric. My 11year old Murano has a more advanced, user friendly system. I could go on, but why bother. I doubt you can fix the problems in my vehicle.

Year 1 Assessment

Quality vehicle overall. We had disturbing problems with intermittent instrument console display and the heads-up display; frequently went entirely blank. We had low confidence for traveling in this car until the problem was corrected by a recall software update. Correction required significant effort on our part and numerous trips to the dealership.

Not as reliable

After the latest recall SW update, the cameras starts to green screen occasionally. The car is only 1 year old.

Don't - Just Don't

Seat is uncomfortable, cruise assist and lane assist will fight you for the wheel (constantly), the heads up device will shut the car down if you so much as yawn. The rear camera is improperly placed and useless if it is raining. The info center flickers randomly - as if you wanted to have navigation help you. And the front collision error that hopefully was fixed by the recall (not sure) slammed me to a complete halt three different times on highways, in traffic. Lucky to be alive.

Great mid size suv

It is a great mid-size SUV. Fun to drive fits our family needs. Weather going to the grocery store or the hardware store to pick up 2x4’s. And it gets good gas mileage. Good quality built with no issues since I drove it off the car lot.
