Slick looking vehicle

Overall, I am very happy with my new GV70 3.5T. It's been a transition from my Mercedes Benz ML350. The GV70 driving performance is so much better. Very fun to drive. Love the power. The styling is awesome. I took the license plate off the front and the car looks mean - in a good way. Love the interior design and I find the seats to be very comfortable. The only thing I'm still adjusting to is the tech. I found the Mercedes to be very intuitive and consistent. Once or twice a week, my GV70 makes me pull my key out of my purse to start the car. Not sure why and it's frustrating. I also changed some settings that get reset every time I turn off the car - like the sound for the lane assist. I keep the haptics on but it still beeps at me. Annoying. Other than that, I'm very happy with the car.

Love my new vehicle . The service in Houston is as awesome . Living closer to the Lafayette location I just visited their service dept due to a lil noise , they were so friendly and helpful . You can tell the genius group works together as a family ! And I truly appreciated their kindness cause I didn’t buy it there .

Hard pressed to find any problems with my 2026 GV70 except for the fact that I wish the illumination on the dashboard in reference to seat heat Cooling and fan controls was a little more prominent, Better Lit OTHERWISE YOU GUYS DID A FABULOUS JOB. SO PLEASED

Love the vehicle. I have had Lexus vehicles for almost 15 years and each year the quality decreased.

Unreliable from the start

Vehicle had a bad battery that has already had to be replaced with under 2000 miles on the car. Now vehicle puts itself into park when stopped at traffic lights (it’s not the auto hold). Have owned the car for two months and it broke down on our wedding weekend leaving us with a headache to deal with instead of enjoying our vacation. Very nervous to take the car on any trips outside of our local area.

More than I expected

I didn't know the brand and bought the car on the basis of YouTube reviews. I am thoroughly enjoying it. It feels comfortable. It has a very smooth ride and has been issue-free so far. I think the interior could use an upgrade in terms of materials, the wheels are not up to par, but it's still quite acceptable.

mostly a good decision

Drives well, reliable. The climate control system has a mind of its own and the driver is not in control of it. Also, hard to adjust and refine airflow for driver or passenger. Despite the beauty of the front grill, once a license plate is attached the entire looked is ruined. Would not have purchased the car had I realized this problem at the dealer.

Customer Service Matters

I will start this out in a positive light. I was very excited about my car initially and truly enjoyed driving it. It’s sporty, classy and has the luxury and style I wanted. That being said once I developed a problem I eventually began to dislike this auto maker due to the lack of care received in handling my problem. Let me say that the dealership has been fantastic. They have did their job and to what I believe is to the best of their ability. So kudos there. Genesis Connected Services on the other hand not so much. I’ve had a problem for near 3 months and it should have been solved by now. It doesn’t take this long to figure out a problem when you actually make it a priority. I know this myself because I too am in the automotive industry. I asked for an update and a call from Genesis Connected Services over 2 weeks ago and haven’t heard a peep. That’s not top tier customer service nor is it making me brand loyal. If I wanted a normal car experience I would’ve bought another Hyundai. I bought the Mercedes of Korea and feel like I bought a Yugo. You want to be a luxury brand? It takes more than just the vehicle. It takes customer service.

A Beautiful Ride

I looked at Lincoln, Lexus, Volvo, and Mercedes and decided on Genesis for the styling, low cost of ownership (for a luxury vehicle) and value for the money. I've driven the GV70 for 4 months and actually look forward to driving! Such a smooth and quiet ride. I'm in my own little world of luxury. Love it.
