Really great car
For almost two years I've been pleased with this car. Performance, handling, energy efficiency all have been top drawer. Only one maintenance/upkeep issue: the front brake rotors after almost two years became rusted and pitted to the point where the car wouldn't pass Vermont's strict state inspection, just for that issue. Safety was not yet an issue and probably wouldn't have been for a long time, but to pass inspection I had to get rather expensive rotor and pad replacement. I find this is an issue with all electric cars especially in moist cool climates like mine, because regenerative braking prevents much regular brake use and scraping off of rust. From now on I'll do at least one heavy braking session a week, just to clean the rotors.
