Bought car in 2015

I noticed a row of AcuraRDX for sale across the street when I was out to lunch. I went and looked at them and soon became hooked after doing one. I bought one and have loved it every single day because of performance, look, and ease to care for. Zero issues!!

Best Vehicle I’ve Owned.

Number one criteria for buying my car is safety. I feel safe in my RDX with plenty of shoulder distance between myself and the driver’s door plus the side curtain airbags of course. On a recent road trip, rotating drivers, I got a chance to ride in the back seat. I was not aware how comfortable and spacious it felt back there. I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the cost to own. Oil changes when the oil life falls to 5% or when the dash warning light indicates it’s due for service. Synthetic oil is a big money saver. Double the oil life? Compared to the usual 3 month or 3k miles with my previous Honda Accord. I’m on my second set of tires, second battery, other than that, no major parts have needed replacement. I expect many more years of service from my initial investment. It’s truly the best car I’ve ever owned. Next to my old Honda Accord of course. It needed a new transmission at 384K miles. It was 21 years old. I wanted an Acura. I got the RDX base model. No regrets.

My last 5 vehicles purchased have been Acura cars. Legend, two TLX and two RDX. I think I’m sold on Acura’s. My husband keeps hinting he wants another one. We are an Acura family. Gas mileage on trips is amazing.

On the Road Again

We have driven our Acura RDX 3100 miles roundtrip to Arizona and back to Seattle eight times since 2014 with no problems. Always a smooth ride. It is not as heavy as the MDX, so we get 28 mpg on average. It's just big enough to carry all our stuff that we haul back and forth. We love this car!

On the Road Again in an RDX

My snowbird wife and I bought the Acura RDX to take us to Arizona and back six years ago. That's seven (twice one year) trips altogether we have taken without one stitch of trouble along the way. We get it fully serviced before each trek south and average about 28 mpg fully loaded with boxes of clothes, canned goods and sundries. Comfortable to drive with CD's and audiobooks for company. 100% reliable even through some snow or heavy rain. I've always been a big Toyota fan but this Acura is the best (and the first brand new) car I've ever had.
