My bolts were loose on my transmission mount. Which made my shifter bounce & wiggling. It was a quick
fix for them but WOW how quickly they moved thanks Randy & Kenny from the crazy Camaro Lady ?

JJ economically solved the problem of an oil leek.
My daughter has an older Jeep with a small oil leak, a drop or two a day at most. When she found this
leak in the garage she was obviously very concerned that the oil leak might cause the engine to fail soon and leave her stranded. She went to John Jay’s by herself to evaluate this problem. John Jay’s team found the source of the leak as the main oil seal. It would be more expensive to fix this leak than the car is worth. John Jay’s correct solution, check the oil level regularly. Based on my unfortunate experience at other less scrupulous auto service centers I would bet that they would try to upsell my daughter to a very expensive unneeded repair project to solve a minor problem. We understand that the Jeep is slowly wearing out but it runs great and is probably good for at least a few more years as long as it gets proper maintenance like checking the oil occasionally. A good lesson for my daughter about proper auto maintenance by the driver. The price of this “repair project”? The cost of her oil change that she was going to have done anyway. Based on my years of experience having John Jay repair my cars, I knew my daughter would be treated properly for her car repair issues by John Jay. Don’t get ripped off by other auto service centers, go to John Jay for a fair deal. Steve P.

Daughter in college had weird sound when braking, she lives in another city than I do. Scottsdale Pr
o Tech was recommended. She called up and they were able to look at the car the same day. The tech was friendly and listened to her and they were able to reproduce the sound. Put it on a lift and the car will need new rotors and pads soon. Gave price estimate which was fair. Did not try to hard sell her that it needed to be done right now, but very soon. She had a very positive experience and will go back for future car issues. Thanks, her dad.

We have been to Gilbert’s 4 times with 3 different vehicles and he has done a great job! His prices
were more competitive than those name brand shops and he doesn’t try an upsell you or do work that isn’t necessary. He is honest with what needs to be done and does good work!

lush. Then my son suggested I call Gearhead, he had seen they had gotten really good reviews on Yelp. I went to the website and saw that you could send an appointment request online so I did. Daniel got back to me within an hour of the request. He answered all of my questions quickly and was able to schedule me an appointment to have my transmission serviced the same day. When I arrived he greeted me with a smile! He was very patient with all of my questions and very detailed with his answers. Daniel told me how long it would take to service the car and I when came back at that time and the vehicle was ready to go. He is a very sweet and honest guy and I hope to have him as my mechanic for a long while.
