Hate the fact, I cannot turn off any of the safety features

Car ride is fine car safety features are highly annoying. Unfortunately, I learned after the fact that you cannot turn them off in the 2026 Hyundai Tucson. So if you drive any distance, you will be constantly reminded in multiple ways to look at the road, pull over to get coffee even though you’re not driving poorly. With a camera on the steering wheel if your arm gets in the way it will cut your cruise control. Pull you down multiple miles an hour immediately ending. I could go on and on. I bought my car and sold it in 2 1/2 months. That’s how much I dislike this car. Would not recommend it at all. Now, I’ve given you your review quit contacting me.

Confusing instrument panel

The car is comfortable. Electric driver's seat allows me to sit close and high enough to have a good view of the road and of other drivers. The touchscreen instrument panel, while very visible, is very confusing, non-intuitive and difficult to navigate. Still haven't figured out all of the buttons on and around the steering wheel. The owner's manual, being almost incomprehensible and equally difficult to navigate, is nearly useless. A beeping warning sign with a cup of coffee icon keeps popping up on the screen with a suggestion I take a coffee break even though I may have been on the road for fewer than 15 minutes. According to Google, it's activated if the car wanders out of its lane, which I am certain it has not. Furthermore, to test this theory, I drove on a road when there was no traffic and deliberately "wandered." No beep, no coffee cup icon, no friendly reminder to take a break. Finally, the tailgate pops open spontaneously and with no provocation other than walking past it.

I wish basics worked

The ride is comfortable. I've never reached the average 35mpg that the sticker said. The rear cup holders do not hold anything other than a disposable plastic bottle of water, no recycling or reusing anything to drink out of with this car. The communication system works when it wants and for how long it wants. Maps can jump from your current directions to one you used long ago. The phone jumps from the car speakers to the phone and back and forth.

The dealer of the purchase did not provide the full service of my vehi

The vehicle has axel noises and engine compartment noises the refuse to acknowledge it a kept saying they cannot duplicate it. I am very disappointed in the sales of this dealer.

Inconvenience Caused by Vehicle Defects

I bought the car less than a year ago, but the check engine light came on, and the driver’s door sensor is not working, so I have to lock and unlock the door manually with the key every time. I visited the AutoNation dealership in Savannah to get these problems fixed, but after making me wait for four hours, they did not take proper action and simply told me to come back another time when the parts arrive.

Not as advertised

One of the reasons I purchased this vehicle and not a Toyota, Mazda hybrids was for the milage. This is getting 31 local and 28 highway. It was advertised as 38mpg!!! There is no customer service where you can call and ask if there are ways to eliminate some of the features ie. “TAKE A BREAK” or to adjust one of the electronic items not listed in the manual. I am also finding that at 80 miles an hour or above the car is vibrating. Have had them rotate tires but has not solved problem.

NOT SMOOTH TRANSITION OF GEAR

engine downshift going downhill it tends to stuck in gear so it revs even going uphill no smooth transition to get it to unstuck when you want to get back up to speed it’s awful don’t know why can’t stand to hear the engine reving harshly not having a luxury drive

Poor gas mileage

See above. Very poor gas mileage. That is the reason I bought it. I replaced a 2021 Toyota RAV4 hybrid. My RAV4 averaged 40 mpg. I am very disappointed in the Tucson Hybrid. If this does not have the proper number of characters. To bad. I’m through with the survey.

Disappointing after having for a while

We test drove a lot of vehicles of the same class. Test driving does not always represent the actual vehicle as was the case with the Tu son. We enjoyed the acceleration, comfort, and quietness of the vehicle. But after having a few months we are discovering the conveniences that come with this trim are not always convenient and consistent. Things work, then they don't. The synthetic leather does not allow one to move easily. Our greatest disappointment is the gas mileage for the hybrid is nowhere near what was displayed. Would not consider purchasing Hyundai again.

Decent car with high price tag but......

I've been driving the 2025 Hybrid Limited trim for nearly six months now, and overall, it's a good vehicle with a lot to like. It offers a comfortable ride, great efficiency, and a modern design. While the car does take technology a step above in some areas, it surprisingly falls short in a few key features that could have really elevated the driving experience—especially for a top trim model. Despite these gaps, I plan to keep the car for the next few years, likely around five. However, based on the current feature set and some of the tech limitations, I’d find it hard to confidently recommend it to friends or others without pointing out those shortcomings which gives a bitter experience.

Disappointing

We decided to purchase another Hyundai because we thought the technology package in the new Tucson would be better than the last one we had. Had nothing but trouble with CarPlay and navigation. Drop calls. Also have had problems with the air conditioner and feels like the transmission slips in between gears. Local Hyundai dealer took a week to figure out what it was and found even more problems and the car was only two months old. Big reason didn’t wanna purchase a second Hyundai was because the dealerships service department is awful. Second time around it was even worse. Management at dealership does not follow through on complaints.

Disappointed with annoying features, but living with it.

Lane departure safety system is dangerous

My wife almost had head on collision as the car veere her across the center line when lane departure system was activated. We submitted a claim and it is taking forever for a response. Car is still at beaker while we continue to pay.

Hybred mpg is lackluster

The car rides fine. I don’t like being reminded to take a break. For a hybred my mpg is around 32. Disappointing as gas models get this mpg too. Overall I like the car and will see how the longevity is.

Wonderful ride. Plenty of legroom. Less gas mileage than expected. Less inside storage space than would be expected. Don't like features such as cruise control shutting off when wearing polarized sunglasses, or not being able to display Android Auto maps and Sirius XM at the same time. Climate settings are not retained when turning car off. For example, if heated seats are turned on while driving, then you stop car and turn off ignition, say for example when running a quick errand, then start car again, you must turn heated seats back on. This is very annoying on a cold day!
