Inside cabin control could be relocated better.

Cabin touch panel and push button should be swapped.. when pushing button with finger your hand hits the touch pad selections.

Everything I needed and more but with a super-annoying quirk.

The vehicle is nicer in just about every way I could expect and more. The only downside so far is that Smart Regeneration will not remain selected in the settings in the ECO section under vehicle convenience settings. This is a check or uncheck setting and it doesnt make any sense to have to go deep into the setting to recheck this box everytime you turn the vehicle on. Instead we have to turn AUTO on with the + Paddle and that is faster, but still a major inconvenience every time you put it in drive just to get the most our of your hybrid regenerative braking. It seems like a firmware update could fix this, but to this date there has been nothing offered. And, this is a well-documented problem/ annoyance. I am not sure why it has not been addressed by Hyundai. I do believe it transcends to all the other hybrids hyundai has according to the posted complaints. The seat belts are a difficult to latch also. there is not much room for that compared to all other vehicles i have been in. Please fix the Smart Regeneration setting and keep the setting selected or unselected as the user sees fit like all the other settings that remain set to the specific user.

Luxury features at a reasonable price

After considerable comparison shopping , I settled on the Santa Fe Caligraphy hybrid. It is a joy to drive , with an intuitive entertainment console and better than advertised MPG. Reasonably priced with a 5 year bumper to bumper warranty, the Santa Fe experience includes a smooth ride , comfortable seats for long term road trips , and responsive steering .

Terrible quality and poor experience. Going back to mazda

I had to immediately replace the first brand new one I bought due to defects then immediately repair the second due to defects that showed up in the first few hundred mile. I'm stuck here waiting over 7-10 days without my " new " car

90 percent perfect

There is so much good, I'll only mention the things lacking. Transmission not the best. I read Hyundai got rid of the dual clutch in the 2026 Sante Fe. That tells you something. The tech can be overwhelming. The dealers know this and do tell you to come in anytime for help. The mpg on highway is only if you drive optimal speed. Thus speed is well below what most people drive on expressways. Some western states have 80mph posted speeds.

Comfortable features galore but creaks like an old wooden boat

We bought a 2025 Santa Fe Calligraphy model brand new. The comfort features were the reason why we selected this model, and they did not dissappoint! But within the first 3500, the car was creaking like an old wooden boat when stopping or starting from a stopped position. We have had it back to 2 Hyundai dealers 3 times and been without our car for over 3 weeks waiting for repairs. It still isn't fixed, and Hyundai is not taking steps to resolve the issue. We regret the purchase.

My 2nd Santa Fe

So far it functions as a very good vehicle. Very comfortable and quality inside is very good. Overall appearance outside tho to me to is just soso and black wheels needs to be something more stylish and not black. Would rather have had a spare tire and kit rather than mobility blow up repair kit. Serenity white paint is not worth the $500 charged. Also I would rather have white painted wheel moldings (the vehicle is white). Other than those 4 items am very satisfied.
