GV80-Love it!

Such a great looking car! People have literally pulled me over to ask what kind of car it is. Excellent warranty. Excellent customer service. Genesis cares! Pretty darn sure I’m a Genesis customer for life. I love that you don’t see a ton of these cars on the road, yet I know that will change the more people see them & learn about the quality.

great vehicle but poor service

I purchase 2 GV-80s approximately one year ago. I'm very happy with both vehicles but very dissatisfied with service as to what I was sold and what I am receiving. I do not feel the dealership was honest with me on how the car would be serviced what actually happened.

GV80

Very good vehicle but I was shocked that the tires wore out so quickly on a new car and the sunroof cracked. Also, it rides very low for towing. I tow a small fishing raft during the warm months when I go fishing on rivers. If I had known the towing was so low I probably would not have made the purchase.

Genesis

Great looking and driving vehicle. Get compliments everywhere I go. The warranty 3 year car maintenance care and benefits is a plus. Especially with car valet for servicing. The speed in the 2.5 is great and don't need 3.5. The Genesis brand is here to stay.

Most comfortable long distance ride ever

We drive long distances (over 325 miles) every month. The Genesis GV80 has been more comfortable to drive on these trips that our past vehicles, including: Infinity QX 60, Mercedes 350, Land Rover Sport. The leg room for the front row seats is superior in every way and the ride is quieter in every circumstance. The Genesis brand has more technology and quality built-in to the price than most vehicles on the automotive market today. If you can get over taking your Luxury Genesis to a Hyundai Dealership for service (there are more important things in life than sitting in Luxury Brand dealerships and being seen) then you will definitely want to consider driving this GV 80 and lay down the pretense of sipping on expensive coffee! I love my GV80

Lack of service coverage

Over the years I have loved the Genesis Brand, they are beautiful and fun cars to drive. The models and styles that I have daughters to purchase were always elusive so I was used to driving long distances to purchase them as my local dealership didn't always carry the color or model I was looking for at the time. My latest experience has been a nightmare since I purchased my last GV80 Prestige. The check engine light came on as I was returning home from the dealership. Since I was already a thousand miles from the dealership when I called them, they said to take it to my local dealership when I got home. Easy enough, however, evidently the local Hyundai dealership that sold me my first Genesis can no longer sell or service the Genesis brand. They tell me from now on I have to travel 350 miles to the nearest Genesis dealer which is also a Hyundai dealership to have my car services and cared for. The problem with the check engine light could not be found. They did reset that for me. It still randomly comes on and each time is disappears after a couple of weeks. If Genesis Turley cared about their customers I would think that they could make some accommodations to care for their customers that were effected by their consolidation of dealers.

I love my GV80 and so far have found nothing that I dislike. I love how it is sporty and luxurious at the same time. I am curious to see how things go with the future of Genesis service compared to Huyndai service an am looking forward to getting mercedes type service…

Great Vehicle, Subpar Customer Service

The vehicle is well designed and the engineering team should be very proud. The technology and safety in the car is great for the price point. The exterior and interior styling is fabulous coming from Audi. But the software updates in the car and the experience of using the mobile app detract from the overall experience. Dealerships are the largest negative part of owning a Genesis. Independent dealerships need to be setup to win over the more traditional luxury car buying market.

Very good unique looking style from the front grill to head light. Powerful engine, decent price, plenty of options included. Nice and luxurious interior. Plenty of leg room for both front and rear passenger. Gas mileage is not very good and riding stability and smoothness need improvement.

Best of the Best

The GV80 is like no other vehicle on the road and that’s what makes it so special. Most competing brands focus on performance around corners, fuel economy and brand prestige. While the Genesis does well in those areas, it focuses on so much more. If you buy a Genesis, you can expect reliability, comfort and luxury that isn’t available with other brands. This is the reason that I purchased a GV80. It is the most comfortable, most luxurious and best looking SUV ever, while also offering incredible reliability. It’s the first time that those three things have been combined in a vehicle. That is why the GV80 is so special and there is no other vehicle I’d rather own, at any price.

Nice car

In general I have enjoyed owning my GV80. I am experiencing issues with a broken front camera, my navigation system cannot connect to the network wot provide navigation route information, and my voice command requests return an error indicating the network is unavailable. These experiences negatively impact my impression of my GV80 and the Genesis brand.

Genesis GV80

This was a beautiful car with excellent quality and engineering. However, it was just not a good fit for me - I prefer sedans with front wheel drive and not so many “whistles and bells”. I could not get used to driving such a large SUV. I traded in the vehicle after nine months.

Looking for a SUV as a second vehicle. The GV80 has exceeded my expectations. Previously owned the Genesis G80 Sedan. The Genesis brand continues to provide the service that is second to none. The service and the sales departments exemplify the same level of care, concern and professionalism.

Love this car

Overall, I love this vehicle. The inside and outside are beautiful. The warranty is awesome. Gas mileage is the greatest, I can only get about 19-20 MPG. Safety features are great. Head room is a little low and it idles loudly. Those are the only things I would put as a negative. Overall 9.5 out of 10.

Service

I have been driving Hyundai and Kia car over 30years, there is one thing they did not change is after service. I have to wait at least a couple of days for parts even they have manufacturing capacity in us.. this means they did not have that much care on customer time..
