Above and beyond

This car is pretty amazing with all of its features. Definitely up there with Mercedes and BMW but without the price tag. Very smooth ride and very comfortable sitting in the seat. Quite pleased with his car so far. We will see how things go in the future and if it continues to impress us. But so far so good.

Quality and sales experience

Disappointed that the front speaker fades in and out and that the left rear door handle is loose. This should not happen on a new vehicle. It costs me time and money to have these issues repaired. Genesis brags about quality. A new vehicle should not have any issues. The sales person was very knowledgeable and professional.

Excellence

I fell for the Genesis the first time I saw it. I had bought a 2021 Hyundai Palisade last August. I went in for a scheduled oil change at the dealership and ended up trading it in and driving the Genesis home. It has everything I could have asked for. It drives very smoothly and very quiet inside. It’s a beautiful SUV. Needless to say my husband won’t let me go for any more oil changes. ?

Purchasing experience was poor from several dealerships. Very bad customer service in Houston, TX (Hub Hyundai)..horrible. Poor representation of the Genesis Brand. Continued searching and found a GV80 (Braman Hyundai, Miami) and had paint on the inside panel, broken middle console and transmission seems to be slipping some. No details on how to use the electrical components of the vehicle.

Check engine light on a new vehicle

I am concerned that a new vehicle would have engine problems with less that a thousand miles. My Genesis GV-80 has been in the shop twice now for a check engine light staying on, hopefully the problem is fixed after the second visit to the maintenance department but time will tell.

Phenomenal!

We bought a GV80 3.5T. The car is amazing. Highly recommend. Beats out Lexus, BMW, Mercedes, in my opinion. Has all the bells and whistles and the concierge program is amazing. The car drives as nice as any car I have ever driven and I am excited to drive this car for many years to come.

My BEAUTIFUL second wife!!

I LOVE THIS VEHICLE!! Upgraded from a 2016 Infiniti Q50. Smooth ride, packed with features and technology. Great performance with the 3.5 V6 with AWD. Great bang for buck as compared with the German competition. Never thought I'd ever buy a Genesis, but the positive reviews had me curious. Zero regrets. Sharp styling for the first ever Genesis SUV. Every minute behind the wheel is a pleasure wrapped in comfort.

My new SUV

Got everything I wanted in a Luxury SUV but 10-20 grand cheaper. And I ain't mad! So far I'm pleased. Will have to see how things work out after a full year of driving and putting the GV8o through the paces. At this time I don't see any problems. Can't wait to go on a long distance road trip!

Outstanding Vehicle

Overall I have been extremely impressed with the GV80. The styling on the vehicle is unique and really catches the eye. The interior is definitely luxurious feeling and well appointed. Driving the GV80 is definitely a treat that you will love. It feels very safe and responsive while driving, and was easy to adjust too. The comfort level and options to adjust the seat and everything else inside is amazing. I would recommend going through the users manual and checking out YouTube for some how to videos, as there are a lot of options and settings. Most importantly is the bang for your buck you get with the GV80. The price point is great for the quality you get from the GV80. Hopefully the reliability will be there for years to come. I truly enjoy driving this vehicle everyday.

Excellent Vehicle

For the past 25 years, I was a dedicated Range Rover driver. I was tired of the increasing price, no upgrades to brag about, the shifter was my primary nightmare. I decided to forget that this is a "HYUNDAI", overlooked that and test drove the GV80. OUTSTANDING. From the exterior to the interior, this vehicle is worth the cost. I have owned the GV80 for about a month, best surprise of a purchase I could have expected.

Amazing car

Highly recommend the car!!!!!! The gv80 is one of the smoothest vehicles I have ever driven! The quality of the car is definitely worth the value! I would recommend this car to anyone looking for a mid size suv!!! Did I mention the sound is amazing!!!!

GV80 Review

The car is very nice and comfortable. The gas mileage is a bit on the low side. The steering can be a bit loose at times, it is not the tightest. There is no massage for the front passenger seat, which would be nice to have. It also would be nice to have cooling seats in the back.

Luxury at a good price

This car is amazing I love this car!! The features alone gives this car a leg up. The design is great you see luxury when you look at it. It doesn't stop there once you enter it it just makes you feel important. The heads don't stop turning and I get someone ask me about the car all the time.

Good styling car with poor dealership

Good car, poor dealership; There are 4 inches scratch repair mark on the driver door handle panel. Dealer rejected to repair it because it is not their responsibility. I purchased a scratched car with $75,000+ payment. Also reliability issue with dealership; I have another Genesis (G70), and the El Paso dealer present poor and undesirable service every time. I did not ask pick up service (I dislike another person's driving) but there is pick and delivery service fee in the receipt. I did not pay this because of Genesis services, but it brings reliability issue with them.

We were really enjoying our new GV80 until the engine light keep going on. It has been in the dealership for over 2 weeks. The issue we have has made it difficult to rate the vehicle. If it gets fixed and does not re-0ccur our rating will be higher.

Genesis GV 80

I absolutely love this vehicle. I had the Genesis sedan G70 before and it did not have much leg room in the back. The SUV is so much better. I know there are so many things I know I could be utilizing in the technology of the SUV but learning as I go. I would recommend to anyone. I have so many people tell me how beautiful my vehicle is.

Best Value for Money

Up until I drove the GV80, I was convinced I was going to get a Q7. I made sure to compare the GV80 with the Q7, X7 and the even the GLS, and it came tops. It is the best value for the money. Nothing is cheaply made, the drive is exceptional smooth, tons of tech it turns heads. I am asked what it is.

Modern Luxury

I've owned nine different vehicles within a 5 years course and this it by far the best. I look forward to keeping it for over five years at least. The brand does a great job at being exclusive and I receive a great deal of attention when my wife and I go out.
