Able Auto Repair LLC was founded by Ron Schemmer and Chris DeLoney in 2007. As a child, Ron spent his days watching his father rebuild classic cars and build sprint car engines in Ohio. As a child, Ron spent his days watching his father rebuild classic cars and build sprint car engines in Ohio. It was during this time that Ron learned the value of every automobile, and learned how the right care and knowledge could extend the life and performance of any car or truck. Rons experiances in his dad’s seven NAPA stores and machine shop taught him about running a business and taking care of customers. Ron has worked at Chevrolet and Ford dealerships. Ron is a Ford Master Tech and is an ASE Certified Level II Master Tech.

Chris also grew up in an automotive family. Just like Ron he is a third generation car nut. Chris’s grandfather started DeLoney’s Paint and Body back in the 1950’s and his Uncle Mike DeLoney is running a successful shop in the same town by the same name over 50 years later. Chris grew up in Austin, Tx and his love for automobiles started at an early age. His father used to show him how to repair and restore cars for friends and neighbors. Chris was determined to honor his family tradition by opening a business that would truly offer value to the community. He promised himself to always provide value and outstanding service, regardless of how large his business grew.

Ron and Chris opened Able Auto Repair LLC in 2007. Since then they have been providing excellent service and offering outstanding value to neighbors throughout Pensacola. Bring you car in today to Able Auto Repair. Remember Able Auto Repair is a name you are Able to trust.

Complete communication breakdown
Called to get a quote on having a lightbulb changed in my headlight. Quoted about $180. Mentioned I have locking lug nuts I don't want, maybe they could help? Dropped it off and about an hour later they called to say there had been a mistake. My headlights are MUCH more expensive. Said the mechanic, "got the lug nuts." Whole job going to be about $950 now. I said no. Can't afford that. Just get it off the rack and I will come get it. Realized, oh they already did the lugs, asked how much that was. Told the nuts were $60. Shocked, I asked if it really cost $60 to change 4 nuts. Told yes, the job is listed as .4 hours labor. So, I reiterate stop work and I will be there soon. Get there an hour later and my vehicle is on the lift still. I asked why and was told they broke for lunch, but the parts will be here soon. Then told they ordered the parts after clearing the price with me. I had not approved the work. I believed it was done already. Angry now, I left. Another hour later they call to say job is done. I had been flustered so I asked the price again so I brought enough money. $148. I said, what? You said $60. The receptionist immediately takes an aggressive tone and says, No I Did NOT! Paid the price I did not agree to for work I did not authorize. Never returning.

I feel like this is missing several important details.  You asked from a price for a head light bulb.  Once we saw the vehicle and the problem we reliaze it was not just a bulb problem.  Joan called and you declined the headlight assembly and agreed on the lug nut price.  We don't make these prices up out of thin air.  We subscribe to Mitchell which is the industry standard for labor times.
